2012-04-25 Tokyo, Apr 25, 2012 - ( JCN Newswire ) - Hays plc, the leading global professional recruitment group, today announces that, effective immediately, Nigel Heap has been appointed as UK & Ireland Managing Director and Chairman of the Asia Pacific business.
Nigel has been with Hays for 25 years and over the last 15 years has successfully led the growth of the Asia-Pacific business, which today is the Group's largest profit contributor. Nigel will remain a member of the Group's Management Board and will continue to report to Group Chief Executive Alistair Cox.
Christine Wright is appointed as Operations Director, Asia, responsible for the day to day operational management of our businesses in Japan, China, Singapore and Hong Kong as well as retaining the role of Managing Director for Japan. Christine has been Managing Director of Japan since 2009 and has been with Hays since 1998.
Nick Deligiannis will take over as Managing Director, Australia & New Zealand, with immediate effect, reporting to Nigel. Nick has successfully led the Victorian business in Australia for the past 12 years and has been with the company since 1993.
