Trend Micro Releases Titanium Internet Security 2012 in India

This latest version automatically stops viruses, spyware and other threats before they reach the user's computer. It uses less than half the disk space and memory of competing security products and monitors and limits kids' online activity and access to inappropriate content. It efficiently keeps information like credit card numbers and passwords private.

Strong Anti-virus Protection Made Simple
From the Titanium main console screen, one can easily run anti-virus scans or get up-to-the-minute status reports on the computer's security. Users can check the state of protection at a glance, view more details about the software, including online help and account information, or open the tools link for shortcuts to features like Data Theft Prevention.

Easy to read graphic reports provide the user with all the details about the threats that attack the computer. One can drill down into detailed logs with just one click. The Security Report also includes advice from Trend Micro on how to stay safe online.

Without having to look over their shoulders, parents can easily protect their children from inappropriate websites and limit their time on the Internet. Parents can select from a range of pre-set settings recommended by online child safety experts to suit different age groups or quickly and easily customize the parental settings on their own. Data Theft Prevention
Data Theft Prevention prevents hackers and spyware from stealing credit card numbers, passwords, email addresses and other sensitive data. It also stops protected data from going into Web pages, email messages or instant messaging. Users can use the pre-defined categories or set new ones. Putting just part of a word or number into the Data Theft Prevention list can still protect the whole thing. For example, entering just the last four digits of one's credit card can block spyware from getting the entire number.
Web Threat Protection
Titanium presets Trend Micro's recommended level of Web threat protection, to block malicious links and downloads in emails, instant messages or Web sites. This recommended level of security protects users from online phishing scams that try to steal credit card or other personal financial information. User will be warned of unsafe Web pages and blocked from accessing them. A new "browser guard" feature for Internet Explorer protects against malicious scripts. URL ratings are also provided for instant messaging and Web-based email (Yahoo! Mail, MSN and AIM).
Secure Erase
Use Secure Erase to delete unwanted files so that nobody can ever open them again. Deleting a file just removes the directory information used to find it, but not the actual data. The Secure Erase feature overwrites deleted files with random data, so that the contents can't be retrieved. For even more security, the Permanent Erase option overwrites files seven times and meets United States government data security standards.
System Tuner
System Tuner improves PC performance by recovering disk space, cleaning the registry, removing application histories and Instant Messaging logs. Users can optimize their PC performance by easily setting a regular schedule to tune-up their operating system.

Customize the Titanium software user interface with a favorite photograph or image. Simply upload a chosen picture to personalize the Titanium experience.
